Creative friends

I have always loved writing stories but it wasn’t until I went to a short story class that I got more serious about it.


The support I found that was invaluable.


Support from others is key:

Getting feedback from others is so helpful. The writing tutor was pretty brutal but you knew if she gave you a compliment she meant it. From that class Mid Week Writers, our writing group, was formed.


We have been meeting now for over ten years. Our group has changed, people have come and gone, but we have helped each other develop. I love that each of our styles is so different. From Historical fantasy to Sci fi, we have it all. I don’t think I would have kept going as long without their support.
